SmallTalk Learning offers workshops in a variety of themes and vocabulary topics to suit your interests and needs. Select from the listing below, or if our current program offerings do not address your specific needs, please contact us so that we can develop a customized program for you.


Beginner Basics Modules

Learn basic Sign Language vocabulary that is essential to the care of infants and toddlers. Our Quick Start module is a great starting point for new signers, but you can sign up for any of the modules that fit your interests and schedule. Sing, Sign & Playtime!, Sing, Sign & Story Time,
and Family Sign Along

Our story time programs can be customized for infants and toddlers, preschoolers or early elementary aged children or geared for an "all ages" group. Each program features one or more books in the
Story Time with Signs & Rhymes Series by Dawn Prochovnic , and focuses on developing/strengthening literacy/early literacy skills through theme-based songs, stories, sign language and age-appropriate signing games/activities. Most popular themes include:

Family Story Time

A private story time for small groups, parties, and organizations that serve young families, including schools, PTOs, play groups, scout troops, and home school support groups. Can be combined with a Book Fair to act as a fundraiser for sponsoring group/organization. Listen to stories, sing songs, and learn American Sign Language vocabulary through signing games and activities.
